PALAPYE REGIONAL CAMPUS

Palapye Regional Campus is one of the five regional campuses of Botswana Open University, offering a wide range of educational opportunities designed to meet the needs of diverse learners. The Campus is the second largest in enrolment after Gaborone Campus, it is the administrative student and tutor support centre for the BOU student body in the Region for both Open Schooling and Tertiary Education levels. Palapye Campus offers teaching and learning services to the largest part of the Central district comprising of the following sub districts; Boteti, Paje sub, Lerala. Mahalapye, Mmadinare, Bobonong, Mmaphashalala, Sefhare and two Mining towns of Orapa and Selibe Phikwe.

The campus provides both Open Schooling and Tertiary Education programmes, utilising modern educational technologies to enhance student support and deliver high-quality academic services. These programs are tailored to serve students from various communities, ensuring accessibility and flexibility in learning.

Location
The Palapye Regional Campus is strategically located along the A1 highway between Gaborone and Francistown, in Palapye Village, Central District. The campus operates from Serorome, Plot 3718, conveniently situated behind Desert Sands Motel.
